After a 15-year career as an Human Resources professional within the Banking industry, I decided to move on to new pastures due to some personal challenges around stress and anxiety (diagnosed with Irritable Bowel Syndrome) which cascaded into some mental and physical difficulties such as chronic pain (stomach, back, neck and shoulders) and poor breathing habits leading to constant tiredness and depression.
The discovery of yoga and Breatheology got myself back into shape both mentally and physically as a whole: through relaxation, the power of breathing and a regular yoga practice, I have developed a positive mindset, got rid of chronic pain and tiredness, recovered and even improved my sport performance which was drastically decreasing. I have grown such a passion for breathing and yoga as these were kind of lifesavers that I went on completing a Yoga Teacher course (Sivananda – Yoga Alliance Certified) and the Breatheology Instructor program to start a new career.
From my involvement in sport (at competition level) and daily yoga practice, my background in the corporate world as an HR Manager and my personal experience, I provide coaching services through conscious breathing and yoga to:
– athletes for performance optimisation
– business leaders/managers on their business performance and managerial duties
– companies on health & well-being, stress and performance management matters
– the general public on overall health, well-being and sport
